The Next-Gen Toyota MR2 Will Inspire The Cheapest Mid-Engine Sports Car
The Toyota MR2 was a mid-engined sports car that was a lot of fun for a low price tag. It hasn’t been produced since 2007, and the MR2 name has sat dormant for more than 15 years, waiting for its chance to rise again. With the Supra being revived a few years ago, rumors are beginning to swirl around Toyota that the MR2 will soon rise from the grave as well. According to the Japanese auto publication Best Car, a turbo three-cylinder is being developed with the help of Suzuki to bring the MR2 back to life. Taking care of your car can be tricky. Proper maintenance can help your vehicle last longer and result in saving money by not having to cough up big bucks for repairs or a new car altogether. Jeep, then part of the American Motors Corporation, introduced the unibody XJ Cherokee for the 1984 model year, and suddenly there was a tough-looking truck that drove like a car and got much better fuel economy than the rest of the truck world. Ford responded with the Explorer SUV for 1991, and suddenly commuter trucks were everywhere. Even before Chrysler bought AMC in 1987, a snazzier successor to the Cherokee was being cooked up in Kenosha; it debuted in the 1993 model year and was an instant sales success. Here’s one of those first-year Grand Cherokees, found in a Colorado wrecking yard last fall. The Grand Cherokee had a wheelbase…

Fontana start time, TV, live stream, lineup
Prepare to get a little nostalgic. Sunday marks the last NASCAR race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, until at least 2025. And when (or if) the series does return, the facility will look dramatically different. Plans had been in place to transform the 2-mile oval located in California’s Inland Empire into a short track though the timetable has been delayed. New reports surfaced this week that NASCAR has closed on a major real-estate sale of dozens of acres of land on the site. The only certainty is that next year there will be no race at the track formerly known as California Speedway for the first time since it…
